  1. Ok, what you do, ignore that first answer ...... I do not know what they thought.

I had a 1991 Pontiac Grand Am and I had to replace the starter. This is not just simply remove the wire, remove the screws, pull it. If you are the owner of the factory, I'm sure it must have a fixed support bracket on the back, I know that in the 1991-model that supports mounted on the block, directly behind the exhaust collector, which is almost impossible to achieve. If this happens, you must find a way to loosen the screw, the clamp around the block enough to measure the assembly is to enable loose. You should be able to get a key and a little exercise at a time, but it will be difficult. Then remove the nut-holder that is liable to the holder, and rotate up and out of the way it should be as simple as removing the 2 screws mode, then the cable and go through the steps to the back share in the new

I had my share of teething problems, but it is the Pontiac Grand Am fear I ever hadto substitute a new owner.

It will be difficult, but keep it, you get it, good luck.

  2. Disconnect the battery, the red wire from the starter, take two bolts attaching the starter, remove the starter. They must be accustomed to it, as starter reconstruction from China and the garbage is only normal that do not work or not, when set or modified less than a year.
